In July 2009, the Marion Police Department received its 5th re-accreditation award from the Commission on the Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). Since 1995, Marion Police Department has enjoyed this internationally accredited status as we strive to be among the best police agencies in the country.
