Our goal is to provide fun, safe, and affordable aquatic and recreational opportunities in our new, state for the art aquatic center facilities that will enhance the quality of life and promote healthy lifestyles for all participants and citizens of our community.


Lincoln Park Family Aquatic Center News & Announcements

Due to lower than expected staffing levels, the Aquatics Center will close for the regular season on Tuesday, August 21.  After this date, the Aquatics Center will be open on WEEKENDS ONLY through the Labor Day holiday as follows:

  • Saturday, August 25 from 12:00 - 7:00 pm
  • Sunday, August 26 from 12:00 - 6:00 pm
  • Saturday, September 1 from 12:00 - 7:00 pm
  • Sunday, September 2 from 12:00 - 6:00 pm
  • Monday, September 3 (Labor Day) from 12:00 - 6:00 pm

Note:  The above dates are staffing and weather dependent.

Hours of operation and daily admission for the 2018 season will be as follows:

Hours of Operation (weather permitting)     
Sunday through Thursday 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Friday and Saturday 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Daily Admission  
Adults (Ages 18 through 54) $8.00
Youth (Ages 4 through 17 years) $5.00
Senior (Ages 55 and over) $4.00
Infant/Toddler (Ages 3 and under) Free
Daily Admission Prices will be 1/2 off from 4:00 p.m. to close each day.

Lincoln Park Family Aquatic Center, in coordination with the Marion Family YMCA, will be offering summer swim lessons for children 6 months through 12 years of age.  Lessons will be offered at a low-cost of $5.00 per child, per session.  For additional information on swim lessons being offered, CLICK HERE.


Weather Policy
The safety of our patrons is of the utmost importance.  Therefore at the discretion of the Pool Manager, if warranted, the aquatics center will close for weather related issues. 

  • Lightning - In the event of an electrical storm, the pool deck must be cleared and guests will need to exit the facility for at least 30 minutes.  The 30 minute time period will re-start after every lightning strike and/or rumble of thunder.
  • Severe Weather - In case of severe weather conditions, the City of Marion Parks and Aquatics Department reserves the right to limit the use or close swimming facilities to ensure the safety of our patrons.
  • Cold Weather - If the projected high temperature for the day is below 70 degrees, the City of Marion Parks and Aquatics Department reserves the right to limit the use or close facilities.

Outside Food, Beverages, and Chewing Gum
Outside food, beverages and chewing gum are not permitted inside the aquatics center facility, with the exception of baby food/drinks and water.  A full service concession stand is available for food and drinks. Guests may bring a washable personal water bottle (staff may ask to examine contents).  Guests may exit the Aquatic Center to picnic within Lincoln Park and re-enter with a stamp.  LPAC reserves the right to search one’s property upon entrance to the facility.
