Our goal is to provide fun, safe, and affordable aquatic and recreational opportunities in our new, state for the art aquatic center facilities that will enhance the quality of life and promote healthy lifestyles for all participants and citizens of our community.


Lincoln Park Family Aquatic Center News & Announcements

Lincoln Park Aquatics Center will be open, weather permitting, on Memorial Day Weekend as follows:

Hours of Operation for Holiday Weekend (weather permitting)
Saturday, May 25                                    12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, May 26    12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Monday, May 27 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.


Beginning, Friday, May 31, LPAC will be open for operation on a daily basis (weather permitting) as follows:

Hours of Operation (weather permitting)
Sunday through Thursday                       12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Friday and Saturday 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.


Daily Admission
Adults (Ages 18 through 54 years) $8.00                       
Youth (Ages 4 through 17 years) $5.00
Senior (Ages 55 and over) $4.00
Infant/Toddler (Ages 3 and under) Free
Daily Admission Prices will be 1/2 off from 4:00 p.m. to close each day.


The Aquatics Center is available to reserve for private parties taking place after normal hours of operation.  Call the Aquatics Center at 740-387-2118 for additional information.


Lincoln Park Aquatics Center, in coordination with the Marion Family YMCA, will be offering summer swim lessons for children 6 months through 12 years of age.  Three (3) sessions will be offered, with various times in each session.  The sessions and times in each session are as follows:


Swim Sessions
Session 1 June 17-20               
Session 2 June 24-27
Session 3 July 8-11
Times available in each session:
9:00 am – 9:30 am  
9:40 am – 10:10 am  
10:15 am – 10:45 am  


Lessons will be offered at a low-cost of $5 per child, per session.  Registration is limited and can be completed at the Aquatics Center.


Memberships for the 2019 Lincoln Park Aquatics Center season are currently on sale.

Memberships will be available for purchase at the following locations and times:

  • Safety Director's Office - City Hall, 3rd Floor
    Monday through Thursday - 7:30 am - 5:00 pm; Friday - 7:30 am - 1:00 pm
  • Parks Department Office - Marion Municipal Airport, 1530 Pole Lane Rd.
    Monday through Friday - 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Accepted forms of payment include check, cash, Visa®, or Mastercard®.

Weather Policy
The safety of our patrons is of the utmost importance.  Therefore at the discretion of the Pool Manager, if warranted, the aquatics center will close for weather related issues. 

  • Lightning - In the event of an electrical storm, the pool deck must be cleared and guests will need to exit the facility for at least 30 minutes.  The 30 minute time period will re-start after every lightning strike and/or rumble of thunder.
  • Severe Weather - In case of severe weather conditions, the City of Marion Parks and Aquatics Department reserves the right to limit the use or close swimming facilities to ensure the safety of our patrons.
  • Cold Weather - If the projected high temperature for the day is below 70 degrees, the City of Marion Parks and Aquatics Department reserves the right to limit the use or close facilities.

Outside Food, Beverages, and Chewing Gum
Outside food, beverages and chewing gum are not permitted inside the aquatics center facility, with the exception of baby food/drinks and water.  A full service concession stand is available for food and drinks. Guests may bring a washable personal water bottle (staff may ask to examine contents).  Guests may exit the Aquatic Center to picnic within Lincoln Park and re-enter with a stamp.  LPAC reserves the right to search one’s property upon entrance to the facility.
