If you have ever thought about having a joint replaced, or have a loved one having a joint replaced, then this presentation will be perfect for you! Join us on Thursday, May 19th at 12:30 for this informative session that will go over what to expect before, during and after a joint replacement surgery. Sometimes surgery is necessary and knowing what to expect can help with the anxiety of the unknown!

Everyone is welcome and it’s open to the public!

THE ART OF FAUX FINISH

Susan Flint will be having a special craft project on Friday, May 6th and 13th at 1:00 a.m. You will learn the techniques of Faux Finish and use that knowledge to complete a framed art piece. Items you need to bring to class: 8x10 or 11x14 frame, a picture you’re willing to have cut into pieces that will be used in this project. To see an example of the completed project, stop by the craft room.

 *Are age 60 or older
 *Live in Marion County
 *Meet income guidelines

A retired registered nurse will be at the Center to take your blood pressure.  This is a free service offered to all seniors!  This is a great way to monitor your blood pressure on a monthly basis, so why not take advantage of this free service!
