The City of Marion has become aware of a third-party online bill pay website ( that has set-up pages listing a large number of cities/agencies/companies that they are accepting payments on behalf of.  The City of Marion has been placed on this list by Doxo, however DOXO IS NOT THE THIRD-PARTY BILL PAY VENDOR USED BY THE CITY OF MARIONThe City of Marion has no contract or affiliation with this company.

After checking, it appears that is a service that claims to help consumers manage billing statements/payments to various companies.  Payments being collected through the website are being made to Doxo NOT the City of Marion.  Furthermore, may charge customers extra fees and the City of Marion has no control over when (or if) payments made through the site will be received which could result in late payments being applied to city utility accounts.

More information with reviews and complaints for Doxo are available through from the Better Business Bureau (BBB).  Click here to be directed to the BBB website.
