Job applications may be obtained from the Human Resources Administrative Assistant on the 3rd floor of City Hall or by downloading the application from the City’s website. 

A City of Marion job application must be completed in full.  Incomplete applications, applications without an original signature (faxes not accepted), or late applications (postmarks not accepted) will not be processed.  A resume will not be accepted in lieu of filing a city application, but one may be attached as additional information.  

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Applications must be received before the deadline listed on the job posting.

Under general supervision performs patrol enforcement functions providing for the safety of the public.  Performs other related duties as required.  This Civil Service posting requires completion of a two-phase entrance exam.

Part-Time - $10.80/hour

Drives bus to transport passengers over specified routes to local or distant points according to time schedule and maintains logs as required by ODOT and MAT regulations.  Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, physical examination and drug screen are required prior to employment with the City of Marion.
