The City of Marion, Ohio, its Board of Park Commissioners, and the City Administration will be accepting Requests for Proposal for a qualified entity to enter into an Agreement to operate a youth softball/baseball program at the Marion Lincoln Park Ball Field Complex.

Residential Occupancy of Sex Offenders

The following Ordinance(s) were passed by Marion City Council:

ORDINANCE 2013-48: ORDINANCE AMENDING EXISTING MARION CITY CODE CHAPTER 666 BY ADOPTING A NEW PROVISION TO BE REFERRED TO AS 666.19 RESIDENTIAL OCCUPANCY OF SEX OFFENDERS WITHIN CITY OF MARION, OHIO, AS AMENDED

Summary: No person who has been convicted of being a sex offender shall establish a resident 1000 feet from any school premises, preschool, daycare, center, public park, library, public pool, Boy & Girls Clubs, local YMCA or YWCA or any city operated recreational facility located in the City of Marion.
