May Pavilion – Palace Theatre
Join us to reflect on the special moments in our lives that have become cherished memories on Monday, May 21st at the 37th annual Senior Citizen’s Day Celebration. The doors of the May Pavilion will open at 12:00 where you will be greeted and directed to your seat. At 12:30 enjoy a delicious meal of Garlic Focaccia, Baby Roasted Potatoes, Green Beans Almondine, Tossed Salad, and Warm Roll with Butter, Homemade Carrot Cake and Beverage catered by All Occasions. While dining enjoy the piano music provided by the Palace Theatre. During dinner listen for your name to be called for one of the many door prizes to be given away. After dinner make your way to the Palace Theatre for the Pearl R. Roberts award ceremony and the entertainment of the Spittin’ Image. The dinner and show, tickets are $10.00 each and can be purchased at the Transportation Desk starting Monday, April 2nd. If you choose, you may purchase them through the mail by sending your check and a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Center in time for us to return your tickets to you before the event.
Many Thanks to the Marion County Council on Aging for the Enrichment Grant and to all the other organizations and businesses which has helped support this celebration for all of you. Please note the pavilion seating is limited, so don’t wait to get your tickets. You won’t want to miss this special event!
