LINE DANCER'S POTLUCK
Everyone is invited to participate in a potluck sponsored by the Center’s line dancers on Friday, August 19th at 11:30 a.m.  All you have to do is bring a dish to share!  Come expecting a great time of food and fellowship!

Commodity Supplemental Food program is a Federal USDA food and nutrition program serving elderly persons in Marion County.
You are eligible for CSFP groceries if you:
*Are age 60 or Older
*Live in Marion County
*Meet income guidelines

Blood Pressure Checks
Monday,   August 8th 10:15 a.m.  -  11:15 a.m.
A retired registered nurse will be at the Center to take your blood pressure.  This is a free service offered to all seniors!  This is a great way to monitor your blood pressure on a monthly basis, so why not take advantage of this free service!
 

Mah Jong - Every Thursday at 12:30
Looking for something new and exciting? Then we have the game for you! Mah Jong is fun and easy to learn and we are looking for new players. Experience is NOT necessary, Come join the fun!
 

Photography Class
Wednesday, August 3rd at 2:00 p.m.  -  3:00 p.m.
Your class assignment is “Fountains and running water”! So take your best shots and bring them to class to share. New members are welcome!
 

Beginners Line Dancing

We offer several opportunities at the Senior Center for Line Dancing.  Royce will begin a new class on Mondays at 8:30 a.m; Peggy’s is on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., and Paul also offers beginning line dancing on Fridays at 8:30 a.m. They would love to have you join them!

Bingo Brunch     
Don’t hesitate to get your ticket today for Wednesday, August 17th at 11:30 a.m. This month’s menu will be Chef Salad, Muffin, Dessert and a Drink.  Tickets will be on sale for $4.00 at the Transportation Desk until Friday, August 12th.  Stay for an afternoon of Bingo beginning at 12:30 p.m. Thanks to Lewis Cunningham for calling Bingo.
 

Square Dancing
Everyone is welcome! No partner needed! Just show up on Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. for some dancing fun!
