Zumba in the water. This fun, energetic class is held twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. Session 2 is July 9 through August 1, cost is $5 per class. Taught by certified Zumba instructors Joyce R. and Sue K.

Senior Citizens Day Celebration - Monday, May 13th (Noon)

"Celebrating the Ages"

Join us for a celebration of the ages during our annual Senior Citizens Day Celebration on Monday, May 13th hosted at the Marion Senior Center. Lunch is being catered by L.A. Catering and will be served promptly at noon. The menu features Gourmet Cole Slaw, Green Beans Almondine, Red Skinned Mashed Potatoes, Pot Roast of Beef Portabello (with a Mushroom Sauce), Rolls and Butter, Peach Cobbler with Whipped Cream, Ice Tea, Coffee and Water.

Bid Package Opening - Transit Scheduling Software

Officials for Marion Area Transit and Ohio Department of Transportation will be opening bid packages for potential scheduling software on Thursday, April 4,2013 at 10:00 am in the Mayor’s Conference Room, located on the 3rd floor of Marion City Hall, 233 W. Center St., Marion, OH 43302. The public is invited to attend this open review of bid packages.

Announcement of Yard Waste Program for 2013

The City of Marion is announcing information related to its 2013 yard waste program. The 2013 program will essentially follow a once per month collection pattern, although some additional support may be available during April and May.
