Mayor Schertzer is announcing that in observance of the President’s Day holiday, offices in City Hall will be closed on Monday, February 18th.   Additional departments will be closed or operating as noted below:

The City of Marion Parks Department and the Ohio Department of Agriculture will be hosting a Gypsy Moth Open House on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Marion Recreation Center, 240 W. Church St., to discuss the aerial treatments planned for spring.

Senior Center Offers Tuesday Evening Hours During the Month of February

Due to popular demand, the Marion Senior Center will continue to offer extended hours on Tuesday evenings until 8:00 pm.  At this time, this is the only evening that extended hours are being offered.  Programs during this special timeframe will continue to target the Baby Boomer generation (individuals born between 1946-1964), but anyone age 50+ is welcome to join in the fun!
